Is it possible to save a favorite message????

I know it is possible to save my favorite locations on the internet. Is it possible to save my favorite threads on the forum? Does anyone have a way of doing this?

If not, maybe they will be rolling it out in the upcoming forum improvements I have been reading about.

Since the thread ID and forum ID are in the URL, each can be bookmarked.

    Thank you

  • You could also copy and paste the address on a text copy and write
a description of the saved link. Keep it on a text document in your documents.

Forum search results can't be bookmarked nor linked in the forums.

You can also save as PDF...on a Mac that function is built into the latest versions of Safari. On a PC you can use a PDF printer (I like PDFCreator).

The advantage of using this method rather than a bookmark is that you will retain the images in the thread, even if they're deleted. The disadvantage is that it's a snapshot, so if someone adds to the thread later, you will lose it.

You can also subscribe to a thread. Just click the icon that looks like a piece of paper with an arrow pointing into it, located in the upper-right corner of each post in the thread. You can see the threads you have subscribed to in the "today" link in the navigation on the upper-right of any page on the forums.

You can email a thread to yourself, place it in a dedicated folder of your email account, and go to that folder for the thread URL at any time later. Just click on the envelope icon in the upper right tool bar of any post in a particular thread of interest.
