Football collectors, Aaron Rodgers question

I'm not a football collector at all so pardon my ignorance, but being from Wisconsin, I love me some Aaron Rodgers. I'm thinking of getting one of his rookie cards. What one or two should I seek out? Is it better to just buy something raw and try to get it graded, buy it graded, or just leave it raw?

Thanks in advance, Corey

2005 Topps Chrome is a good one.

Are you going for base rookies or autos?

My budget would prolly be around 100 tops. Can you find a good auto card for close to that?

2005 sage auto is the only one that could be had for that amount. It's not very popular though.

I'll have to look around and see what's all out there and maybe go higher if I need to. It's not a high priority for me, but I love the guy so I thought I'd be nice to get one. Thanks for all the help!

I think 2005 topps chrome is his most collectable card. You could prob get a psa 9 refractor for about 125-150 or a base psa9 for about 80. Either a good choice IMO
Scans of most of my Misc rookies can be found <a target=new class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://forums.collectors.com/m...y&keyword1=Non%20major">here
  • Personally I like the 2005 Topps Chrome Xfractor Auto. There was one per hobby box. It's pricey, but if you can find one that is centered (and that goes for all of his Topps Chrome Rookies) than you've probably found one that is better than most.

With a budget of $100 your best off getting his base card of that year Raw. A centered example usually auctions for around that much.
I'm a big Nolan Ryan fan OK???!!!
