Wrestling Trading Cards
Here is a link to a great reference source for wrestling cards. I would suggest going through some of the sets if you can't find the cards that are suggested to look for others.
Here are a few links to the lesser known names.
1998 WCW Panini Buff Bagwell #57
1995 WWF 1-2-3 Kid #6
ECW Raven
Jake Roberts- 1983 Wrestling All Stars, 1985 OPC Series II, 1987 WWF Topps or OPC
Ric Flair- 1982 Wrestling All Stars, 1985 Wrestling All Stars, 1986 Carnation, 1988 NWA Wonderama
Ivan Koloff- 1986 Carnation, 1988 NWA Wonderama
Rock N Roll Express- 1985 Wrestling All Stars
Scott Hall- 1991 Cromy Aregentina, 1992 WCW Topps
Teddy Long- 1988 NWA Wonderama
and Ric Flair
tell me what you all think ?
if anyone else wants a signature they are only 10 dollars.
added this national card from panini number 2 out of 5
these two cards are eagles im getting signed for him, hope he does not mind me posting.
Like that Panini national promo Flair. If it is glossy on surface. Rub it down real good with your thumb before he signs it or it will bubble.
<< <i>Nice cards. Let us know how it goes.

thank you for the advice
I bet Scott Hall will get a laugh out of seeing the Cromy card. I highly doubt he has signed many if any of those.
<< <i>Yeah that's an 87 header card.. I can't imagine many of those are floating around signed. >>
Very few if any. It is obviously a nicely centered copy too which will present great. At the recent signing in New York where Hogan and others were at I know a person who attended and he said that there were few trading cards getting signed. I think that is great news as many of these items will stay relatively hard to find. With many of the wrestlers catching on that autograph signings are great easy money many items are falling in value but getting the right stuff signed to me is the key.
Looking to BUY n332 1889 SF Hess cards and high grade cards from 19th century especially. "Once you have wrestled everything else in life is easy" Dan Gable
<< <i>At these type of wrestling conventions. Is their dealers that sell bootleg dvd's of wrestlers and cards from old school days? >>
I would suspect the answer to the first part of the question is yes. There may be a few examples of wrestlers selling cards but certainly not the norm is my understanding. I have been told most sell cheap prints of old photos.
<< <i>Eagles is that a 1987 Wonderama header card? If so that is a great one to get signed.

Dpwe
just got back 3 hour wait for ric flair and he smudged one of my autos boohooo
but you know what you called it Dpeck Xpac and Scott were in the same table signing and when Scott saw the card he actually laughed out loud and yelled oh no brutal. Sean was like diamond stud thats not bad thats how it all started or something . both of them enjoyed the card.
Scott if any were wondering is doing great and told me that is very excited to be back in wrestling. His son was there too and is hoping to make in the sport.
Ric though was out of his mind. I do not know what he was on but he was not all there and ended up smudging my panini card. I shook his hand at the end and he greeted me . lol
I met one of the founders of Wrestle Cade and they are having a big show with 145 wrestlers signing.
Got to really know the guy for we waited in line together
got some free passes. not sure if I can make it but will try
He told me they landed Ric for next year though and some other wrestlers big names for 2014 which will be released later on.
but here are the cards from before so you can see an after.
p.s. I used blue ink because once I asked Dale Earnhardt sr. What color I should use and he said always use blue son. always use blue.
Eagles Cards.
here are the three i scanned and showed before . to bad about the panini.
i got a lot more there were a lot of wrestlers who showed up, including Abdullah The Butcher

there were all kind of dealers and lots of the wrestlers had cards, but mostly they had photos, posters, books, etc.
Hall Diamond Studd is cool. Never seen him sign that before.
Any of these cards going to PSA/DNA for slabbing.
You get other stuff signed there. Was it very crowded. Was Flair late or just his line insane long for a 3 hour wait.
But he was gracious a bit , but seemed bored and out of it. Maybe he hits some beverages or something. But the line went really really slow. They had a professional photographer take pics for your personal pic. I think that did a lot of the slow down He would get up and stand in front of a black curtain with each person then go back to signing.
I dont know but it was not crazy amount of people just really really slow moving.
I got a bunch of cards autographed . There were a ton of wrestlers there since most live in GA , FL, and the Carolinas. There was no line for anyone else. short ones for hall and jake the snake roberts, but nothing like flair.
Most of the wrestlers were in an open arena where they had a table and you could get an autograph or whatever. 5 bucks mostly for the other guys , flair was 40 for the meet and greet you would get two autographs or an auto and photograph and 10 for additional autographs.
It was fun, the wrestlers just like hung out. You could basically walk up to them and just talk to them, lots of them were eager to talk about the old days and stuff. Lot of nice people, out it the hills of northwest ga.
so it was kinda of a bust for me for Ric Flair yeah but thank goodness it was not the All Star. I would have cried lol
Yeah he was pretty careless , he really was not feeling it.
But, I ll get more next time.
<< <i>yeah I did not really need a refund I was just bummed out that , I got that card for that signing and a few cards that I bought for the signing never came in on time.

Sounds like it for the most part it went well. The All Stars card is obviously the better one and fortunately it was the one that came out best.
That is interesting that his line was sooooo much longer then all of the others. You have to assume that he would be more heavily desired then the others but I would have thought it would be a little more even then 3 hours and 5 minutes.
Was Scott Hall cool and what about Jake Roberts?
I forgot who Scott Hall was before he went with his name? - been bothering me for the past several minutes.
Also, I believe Jake the Snake Roberts should have gone out without the Python...would have been better for the chicks - kinda like the "big unit"

Scott Hall started out using his own name in the 80's and then became the Diamond Studd. Shortly there after he became Razor Ramon and became a top guy.
He left for WCW and once again used his real name Scott Hall.
I just read a few bits and pieces last night from a recent Jake The Snake Roberts interview and apparently he and The Undertaker used to travel together and Roberts was known for hitting up all of the strip clubs around the world. He has had is fair share of chicks that is for certain!
