    I have seen shelf doubling, but never a DDO. And to my knowledge none is listed anywhere.

    I say it does not exist. Shelf/Machine/Mechanical Doubling is possible. I have multiple books in addition to my own study. The earliest DDO for the series that I know of happens in the year 1929 with the San Francisco and Denver mints. The Denver is very minor and not worth any significant study.
