that was my concern I will tell him it is fake what are the key issues that say it is fake so I can tell this guy? Thank you also and good I asked before trading....
Do you even know how and where to look for the diagnostics for this coin? Since there was only one obverse die used it is really, really easy to tell (besides that this coin is just a poorly made one).
When in doubt go to Vamworld.com and take a look.

thank you Bob and no I really dont know much about this year morgan as I stated. I dont deal with the morgans I prefer Lincolns Mercury dimes and Buffalos. As for the customer I do not know them well and I am not sure of their knowledge which is why I asked so I could learn about it and not get taken. I will look to see what the markers are so I can tell the guy thats why I asked if some one could tell me about the coin. Thank you to those that are being helpful.

What a stupid remark. At least the OP was smart enough to ask for help so give him a break.

Wow, can't even have any fun here anymore! "I am thinking of trading my good coins for this fake?" I also assume he is in the business if a customer is trying to take his goods!
Milking is not a dishonorable profession, especially if you have to start the current thread!!
Also just for your info the coin is 26.70 grams Has cart wheels and semi reflective surface and did acid test as silver so now what.. As to the farm comment my family has a farming and equestrian background all the way back to the 1600s in Germany and without the farmers wabbit2313 you would not be eating and would starve to death! My point to this post was to learn how to determine what markers show this to be a fake!! It is good that I as this and that I did not trade away a 10,000.00 in other coins then post this on ebay and sell it. Instead I can show my customer why it is fake and pull it from the market so it does not circulate any more. Please remember where everyone of us has come from as no one on this board was born with the knowledge they have, it had to be learned. By busting some ones chops or making fun of some one fro asking a question it makes them feel like it is not wort it and will probably just sell things that are fake , oh well right.
is it a cast fake or was it changed? The shop owner who tested it was not to forth coming with info other than to say it was silver that it is the right weight and that it could be fake or real and he was not sure. Please can someone tell wabbit 2321 to stop trying to milk the bulls its the heffers that you milk....
Are you serious? Even is it was genuine, which it's not, it would be considered a trainwreck at best. There's no cart wheels, luster or semi proof like surfaces. I see what appears to be casting bubbles around the N of UNITED and to the North of the olive leaves.
ok ok dang cant you tell the front from the back of a cow.. I guess I will just talk the customer in to melting it down. Are you in wisconsin wabbit and if where at?
Looks typical of what's coming out of China these days. Overall, it's a mediocre counterfeit that wouldn't fool most experienced collectors.

I have contacted the customer and would you believe he stated he was told it was real. I told him that I have posted it here and showed him some of the opinions and has told me I can keep it to destroy it hum again glad I asked because I do not know much about these coins I have never collected Morgans. It did test as silver so I might just melt it down or keep it as a reference piece. But it will in no way shape or form be going back in the market place! I might see if I can make it into a ring or maybe a nice pendant.
<< <i>A "customer"? There is a question of where the customer got it and how much they paid for this cast fake, phoney, two-bit fraud. You could try contacting the authorities but I'm not sure it would do any good. >>
Probably got it off eBay or at the local flea market.

thank you to all that helped me with this coin and the info on the markers to determine fakes as I have no knowledge on morgans but will now be much more vigilant with them considering that it seems there are mor fakes and reproductions than actual coins!

How well do you know the customer? Is he trying to pull one over on you or do you think he is ignorant of his situation?

It means 'this person (the OP) moved or deleted the image', as the message in the image states.
I'd guess you did it at about 8:33, when you edited your message.
I edited this one to add the time edited.
