Is anyone here working on a set registry of only + graded coins?

Just curious how you may be faring. Are there enough plus grades out there to complete your set?
I would like to put together a 50 piece silver commem. set comprised of only plus grades.

Interesting idea. Depending on the series and the grade, I don't think there is enough of a population yet to do so. Just because there is a price in the plus column of the guide doesn't mean there is a coin with that grade in existence. Once again, I like the thought.

You might be able to complete it if you included NGC coins, but I bet the populations are too low for one grading company.

It is possible for something small like a Proof Set or Mint Set in the 20th Century. I have been looking at a few dates for fun. If you exclude TOP POP +Grade aspirations then it should be possible for many dates.

The advantage to collecting only Plus graded coins, is that one does not often find something to buy, not so easy to tap out all the coin money. How about a set of only PCGS Plus coins, all at the same grade, and all with the CAC sticker?

An Everyman set of 58+ coins would be tough.

I think people are still wrestling with the pricing of the +'s.
Good luck with your plus grade commem set. Sounds great.

Thought about a 64+ walker short set. Would be fun to see how close to 64 money it could be done.

I put together a green label set of commems and made the mistake of buying some so-so coins just to complete the set. I would think about whether putting a set together for the purpose of having matching labels makes sense.

On a dealer website, I saw a 1932 washington quarter in ms66+ for about $5k and was sold. In ms-66- pcgs price guide is $1300 and there are about 188 of them. I think that you going to chase coins with low pops for alot of money where the plus grade are relatively new. I think its cheaper to find 66 graded coins and resubmit them to secure 66+ - Just my thinking......
