When will these guys learn that clip errors CAN NOT be faked.

    Some of them show signs of cutting

    It looks like 10mike1986 had some trouble cutting a couple of them.

    Among the other issues (the appearance of fake clips and other tool marks) he didn't know enough to start with uncirculated quarters; there's no way a major error is going to get a lot of wear unless it was a pocket piece for years (unlikely)

    Wow, I just checked this guys 100% positive feedback .....

    Buyers have been leaving positive feedback for the fake clips they have bought and are obviously clueless.

    Most of those are even double clipped... if he counts the flat part on the rim where he had to hold it in a vise to cut them!
  • everything sold is a clip I was not that good with them befor learnig what to look for from this forum and now even I can see that every one of them is fake . I see that some big sellers have bought these coins , crazy....image

    NO. They just can't be faked well. It would take the actual striking of a coin, in this case it would be a counterfeit coin too, in order to accurately fake the clip.

    ....... but I was talking in general about the guys in the garage with cutters and or grinders .......

    obviously none of the buyers has ever heard of the blakesley effect on a clip
    regardless of how many posts I have, I don't consider myself an "expert" at anything
