Suspicious buyer

I have someone on Ebay who is causing me to be a bit suspicious. Could just be me, but I'm curious about your thoughts and how to move forward.

1. This person bought 2 items from me and continues to claim that I have not given the discount on shipping despite the fact that I have sent 4 invoices with the discount.

2. They are upset because ebay opened up cases on them automatically on my behalf since they haven't paid and have asked me to close the cases.

3. They keep insisting that it's on my end despite the fact that I have sent them 4 invoices and on my end it reflects the discount.

4. They also claim that they don't know how to pay for multiple wins even though they've been a member since 2008 and have 85 in feedback.

Is it just me, or does this sound a bit weird? I'm getting the feeling they are either having buyers remorse or that they want me to just send them the cards with no additional shipping.

Your thoughts?

It might be an eBay issue. I have had buyers who have struggled with these basic concepts before. Tell them eBay's system is to blame and ask him to pay the full amount without the shipping discount. Once you receive the money you will refund the extra shipping amount paid.

They sound dumb. They prob can't figure out to pay and are blaming you. I would cxl the transactions, block the guy and relist. I'm not a big seller on eBay.. I just occasionally list things that no longer fit my collection ect... Well someone keeps asking me to lower my starting price on a card... It's only 25 bucks to begin with.. I told them no but they keep bothering me. So I just blocked them. I have found that's its easier to block bidders that you think might cause a problem because they usually end up being a problem

  • Gave him the option to pay in full and then have me issue back the overage and he did it.
  • Some dumb buyers out there. Sometimes you have to hold their hand.
  • Opened my Ebay messages today and found a note from this buyer. Apparently the buyer was a kid and his dad sent me a message thanking me for helping him out. Feel kinda bad now.
