Need help with die markers 1911 weak D $2.50 gold Indian aslo Grade?Price?

I have a hard time with these and have been doing research on PCGS and Heritage. Both sites have stated that the D can be nonexistent and to look for the die markers . One of the markers is a wire rim on the right side of the coin as one of the Denver mint markers. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated because the more I look at the coin the more I am "seeing" a surface disturbance where the D might be,arggggggg........ could I also get some opinions as to the grade? Are these coins selling for a premium over there grade price AU 58 say 355.00 and I was looking at listings and they are going for up to 500.00?

Sounds about right. Be careful buying these raw since this series has been heavily counterfeited. This one at least looks real.
