First time back to a coin show in nearly 7 years -- picked this up for my CC Type Set

I'm building a workingman's CC type...looking at grades from AU55-MS64, with one caveat -- they have to be nice looking coins with eye appeal. I am realizing it is a lot harder than I anticipated for a person if you don't have unlimited capital to spend image

Ran across this coin at a local coins show this AM and it looked nice for the grade (but most importantly in hand it oozes luster/has good eye appeal).

Thought I'd share -- I haven't posted here in a long time (and got very rusty on taking coin pictures) but got the itch for coins again and happy to be back.

PS. This is my 3rd coin of the set so lots more fun to be had... image

    Yes, very nice! MS62?

Believe it or not it was in a PCGS 61 holder so I got a much better deal than I expected for a nice looking coin. I wouldn't have a problem with that coin in a 62 holder, so I was quite surprised.

Maybe they graded it on Monday image

It's a die break, really cool in person. Luster rolls over that area. Kind of neat...

I've always had an interest in Carson City coins (I lived in Lake Tahoe for a while when I was younger and visited the mint a few times).

Looking forward to building the type set.
