Pete Rose and George Brett card prices

Pete Rose and George Brett card prices have really taken off.

Who will be the next Hall of Famer to see a big increase in value?

What would that card sell for if it wasn't PWCC?

Willie McCovey cards get no respect. I would think his 60-67 cards would be on the list at some point.

Brett and Rose have not seen an increase in value disproportionate to the rest of the market, they've always been high.

I see Brett going up because he was a late 70's and 80's star, which is where you see all the unopened prices rising. Nolan Ryan played in three or four decades so his appeal is a much wider group of people, new and old collectors. People just coming in probably collected in the early to mid 80's, and revisiting the likes of George Brett, Pete Rose, Robin Yount, Paul Molitor, Ricky Henderson, etc., etc.

Willie McCovey, Willie Mays, and some of the more classics, I think are not as strong because the collectors coming in (or back to it) did not see him play. I am not saying their cards have peaked, but I dont think the cards will have the same spike in pricing as these newer players.

Brett tripled the value of his cards with his Las Vegas crablegs story - every1 else is just riding his coat-tails image

1979 Topps PSA 10 Pete Rose

This is a really cool card. I have always thought this was a great looking card.

I was born in 1979 so this card probably came out just before I was born.

This is a truly deserving example! I am anxious to see if there is any action on the close.

And yet another one going for big money. This is probably less then a buck raw.

Yeah and the surprising thing was that they both sold really quickly. The first one I listed sold within 15 minutes.

I think Dave Winfield, Andre Dawson, and Eddie Murray rookie cards are all relatively low in comparison to their counterpart HOF RC's in the 70's.

The next card to really shoot up will be the 1983 O-Pee-Chee Tony Gwynn. The Sandberg just sold for $1,000

I wouldn't be surprised to see some mid-tier HOFers like Perry, Stargell, Brock and Sutton to go up. $200-$400 for a PSA 8 Stargell RC (high number) seems like a steal.

There will be more 10s soon. All you guys with the really nice 9s crack 'em out and get ready for your
    next PSA submission.
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to convince the PSA 10 collector he didn't exist.
