Whoa! When did Ebay fees jump to 10%???

Add Pay pal + Shipping + Insurance looks like about 20% Now. Yikes!

They didn't that within the last year or so. Hurts the casual seller of coins for sure, but if you pay for a store and have the top rated seller and volume discounts the fees (eBay/PayPal/shipping) end up between 7-8% for most coins. For high dollar stuff (over $5000) the eBay fees are capped so you can get the total percentage down below 7%. For example, on a $20k+ sale you'd pay under 4% in total fees.

It's been around for a bit now. That's why I only sell on eBay if they offer me a free no-FVF listing (which they haven't done in a while).

Yeah I don't sell enough there to require a store and found out the hard way when I accepted an offer and took a bath

I'm trying to opt out myself. The fees are too high, and the strong arm attempt to force free shipping with a deliberately perverse DSR system is just about the last straw for me.

Been quite awhile and like you say you got to add at least 20% to cover all the extras.
I am giving the BST a try and without Pay Pal but I'm fixing to change that. I feel most
people will pay the 3% PP fee and get a coin at a better price. I also have been with Great
Collections for a couple of years now with my better coins and works fine.
