Coin Shows in Binghamton, NY or Johnson City, NY

My daughter lives in Johnson City, NY and I visit occasionally. Are there any coin shows in this area and when are they? I would like to plan my visits around them in order to bond with my grandson by taking him to a coin show. He is 9 and likes coins. Any help would be appreciated.

The closest regular show presently is no closer than Syracuse (Onondaga Numismatic Association, 3rd Sunday September-June). There is a dealer next to me at Syracuse who is talking about resurrecting a Binghamton show that was active until last year, but nothing firm right now. Any other shows in the Southern Tier are going to be a minimum of 1 hour driving time from Binghamton. The one exception is a club sponsored show next weekend in Owego, N.Y. just west of Endicott on Rt. 17-C. The Candor Coin Club show is at a Treadway Inn on October 26.

I worked the "Koin is King" show in Binghamton a few times, many years ago. That was a GREAT show !!!
I also did my student teaching, or professional semester as some say, at Union Endicott high school down there in the mid seventies. A beautiful part of the state.

Those towns are on my beaten path.
I didn't even know about the small show in Owego.

The Coin Show in Binghamton/ Johnson City, NY is very close to reality. I just returned from there and will be signing contracts at one of two venues either in Binghamton or JC week after next. Both are sending proposals next week and we will decide on the venue and date.

We are shooting for May 2015 and each year thereafter. Don't have the weekend determined yet.

5 Sundays in May 2015, two of which probably aren't optimal: Mother's Day and Memorial day eve. I believe those would be 5/17 and 5/24 by date.
