One year's worth of unopened collecting (scans)

So I got back into collecting sort of full force last September and my focus then was starting to put together a PSA 7+ graded set of 61 Fleer Basketball. I am doing well on that project as I now have about 24 more to go out of the 66 card set. Along the way I found this board and a thread about a "Group Break". I had never heard of BBCE before and I didn't quite understand the rules, if this was an exclusive thing or not, so I didn't order anything the first time I saw the thread. After reading the posts about what everyone got including the scans from the break, I thought it seemed like a very exciting and fun thing to take part in so I decided I would jump in the next time a break happened. That first break I got 3 packs, a couple of 86 FB Cellos and a 87 Fleer Basketball Wax Pack. Since then I have added unopened boxes and packs to my collecting habit and have probably done more with that than any other part of my collection. Thanks to the last group rip, BBCE, and help from a few board members I have really added to my collection the last few months. I am going to try for a run on 80's football and baseball (even though basketball is my favorite sport the 80's stuff is just too overpriced for my budget at the moment). Here are pics of the start of my new unopened collection. All of the material is from this year except the Jerry Rice on bottom 86 Rack Pack which is from my teenage years in the 90's.

My stars on top pack collection. It may be hard to see but the graded rack is a Montana RC showing Rack in a GAI holder and the 86 rack with the bottom showing has Jerry Rice showing on bottom. Yes, I am a 49ers fan.

My baseball and basketball boxes. I think I will start a run on 80's baseball (probably going between 80-87). Hoping to add a few boxes on the next breakimage Basketball is my favorite sport and it makes up almost all of my graded card collection. Unfortunately, I can't afford an 86 Fleer BK box and I don't think 87 or 88 Fleer are particularly good values at today's prices so I only have modern boxes. These are the Topps Chrome boxes for 1997 (Tim Duncan's RC) and 2003 (Lebron, Wade, Carmelo and Bosh RC's). I would be willing to pony up for a 1980-81 Topps Basketball box though (if anyone knows anyoneimage)

And lastly, my 80's FB Box run. This is my most fun collection right now. If I complete my run I may try to add doubles or go for Cello or Rack boxes. Haven't figured it out yet but I am enjoying the journey.

That's quite a nice wax accumulation for just 10 months. Congratulations.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. It is a small but growing collection. I am definitely lighter in the wallet after jumping into this. Happy with all of my purchases so far though. See you guys at the group break tonight! Hope there's enough to go around for everyone.
