Possible/Probable Morgan fakes

Please forgive me if this site(s) and person(s) has been discussed here before. This person continues to list under several names, what appear to me to be obvious fakes. They have been listing on ebay for at least a few months. What is the groups general consensus, if I may ask?

By the way, is there a better way to list links?

This and several more aliases.

Again, please excuse me if this has been previously discussed.

I have reported these sellers (same seller, different ID's) before and nothing was done. Ebay policy is two
    accounts at one time.
I'm not so sure that they are selling fakes as they just sell overpriced, polished, ruined coins.

    Here you go:

    Fake1
    Fake2
    Fake3
    Fake4

FYI, there's a "http" button you can use. It's above the area you type in.

That seller is a real piece of work in my experience. Nothing but junk. Best to add them to the "exclude seller" option when searching.

None of those are fakes. Just horribly cleaned and polished junk. But, they are real.

  • Thanks for the link info. Boy everyone of the Morgans have the same oxidized patina that looks fake to me. I have seen at least 7 different aliases associated with this person / group. They all have exactly the same page setup along with some sob story. I just hate that. Oh well. Thanks again for the info.

In general, if sellers include a sob story or a lot of unrelated nonsense that's a good enough reason to avoid them. If their item and description was good and to the point then they wouldn't need a multi colored canned sob story to sell it.

    All are real.
    All are horribly overgraded.
All have been horribly messed with.

I want nothing to do with them.
    When in doubt, don't.

The first three have been removed. I agree that the last one is a real coin just polished up. The seller has super high prices on common harshly cleaned coins for the most part. A poor business model. Fortunately most of his coins did not sell.
