sorry if this off topic but I would like some help with a reference source

I have come into a large quantity of wooden nickels from across the us and tokens as well from across the us. The tokens are post 1900 most from the 20's forward and the wooden nickels likewise in date range. Is there a reference book for these two items with information and price guide? Sorry if this off topic.

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then question the manner in which I provide it. I prefer you said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand to post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to!

Best avenue to explore is through TAMS, or through an exonumia reference book dealer such as Rich Hartzog. Are the pieces all from a particular geographic locality ?

  • There is a price guide for "Official" woods. These are pieces issued by municipalities with a stated value, usually good through a stated date. For the majority of wooden nickels, there is no price guide. I have seen large lots of wooden nickels sell for less than $.05 each. I have seen dealers price them at $.50 to $3.00 each. It is hard to find a buyer for a $3.00 wood.
