25-Year Anniversary

Can't believe it's been this long, but as a 9 year-old avid A's fan, I remember feeling crushed watching this in my living room.

I was crushed that day as well ... but in a different way ... that was the night of my Bachelor Party!

    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
  • I was crushed also,my buddy got married! Left reception and got to a bar just in time to see the homerun!
Collecting Roberto Clemente and Willie Stargell cards.
  • On the other-side of it... That was one of my best childhood memories ever! Wanted to buy something when Gibson auctioned off his equipment from that game. But the prices!! Wow. I believe the 3 major items bought by the same father/son in california.

Also, probably my biggest "score"! Meaning I followed closely so remember loading up on Orel Hershiser rookies at something like a nickel a piece. I was a kid and worried that the dealers would wonder I was buying them out of the common boxes in bunches of 5 or 6 per table. My buddies still talk about that. Then shot up to2,3 or 10 bucks..."non-graded"
  • That was only game 1. Eck was dominating. Remember vin saying there was a rumor Kirk was hitting balls in the tunnel or training room. And wouldnt it be something if he came out to bat. Then Orel shuts them down game 2. Then couldn't stop the momentum. Wow. Memories
  • Hard to believe is been that long since i enjoyed
    a dodger championship.
