2011 Matte Proof Silver Britannia - Opinions?
Do any of you Britannia collectors have this error coin? I read that they were supposed to be proof editions but a matte finish was applied to 2,337 of them before the Mint stopped the production. They were allegedly sold to a U.S. dealer, and later the Royal Mint wanted them returned. The dealer refused.
Any opinion on this? Seems to be very rare based on mintage alone and a nice addition to a Britannia collection. But I'm not sure of the popularity of Britannias to begin with.

Thanks. I did a search a number of ways for this but a lot of non-related threads popped up. Interesting speculation on the origin of this error, but I think I'll pass on buying one.
