Has this ever happend to anyone??

Bought a card from 4SC last week and just received a refund email from Paypal saying that it was sold in a previous transaction. Somehow this card is up on eBay and there website at a slightly higher price. Sent them an email and waiting for a response.

  • It happens. Buy it again, see if they have it now.

Well they did rectify the issue. Apparently the card I bought was purchased just before I had by someone else, and then they posted another of the same card the next day for sale. They are going to send me the other card.

4SC lists almost everything on their website on eBay as well. If it sells on one platform, they remove it from the other. Based on my experience they do that pretty quickly, but there's always the possibility that somebody nabs the same card on the other platform before they get a chance to remove it.

I'd assume that the higher price on eBay is due to the fact that they'll final value fees on an eBay transaction, but not on a website transaction.

What happens is if they have a card on say on eBay for $6.99 and it sells and they have another of the same card, they will list the second card for $9.99.

That happens a lot. Their prices drop slowly but steadily until it sells. They take someone buying the card as evidence that the market for it is a little higher than it was before the sale.

Their website is screwed up. I've clicked on a category like "football" and nothing comes up in the search. I've gone to check out after loading my cart only to be told the items aren't available, when in fact they were still available.
