Nicholas Ohman (NO) Counterstamp on Newfoundland coinage..Rare?

I recently purchased a nice 1888 Newfie half that has the "NO" counterstamp at the base of the bust. I did a little research and found the origin of it, but don't really have any idea if it's rare. Anyone here have any knowledge of the rarity?
