Figured this one was worthy to add, 1902 PCGS MS-65 BN. The luster really screams on this one. Still a little scratchy, but the Plast-X did help.

That is a GREAT-LOOKING coin!! Without the distracting slab marks, new pics are going to make that coin scream. Repost new pics after Plast-X

Yes, polishing the slab is a good idea. The chief problem though is that your camera is focused on the slab instead of the coin.

manual-focusing through the slab can "hide" all but the worst of scratches usually.

nice cent! just get it re-holdered and get a nice trueview while you're at it. some coins are worth a little extra!

That coin actually looks AU to me. It looks like wear at the tips of the feathers. Could it be out of focus that much? The toning is great.

Better pix. I'll bet you can remove more scratches if you work at it.

Focus is a little better too. But still a bit off and you're picking up the slab, not the coin.

If you can't get a better camera view for focusing then you just have to shoot a lot of images with focus tweaks until you get ones that are right.
