Never mind ... I just GOOGLED last night's Cards/Dodgers game and the fact that the catcher never tagged the runner was brought up at the time it happened. (I didn't see the play last night.)

    The runner was not tagged.........umpire would have needed a police escort out of Busch stadium if he called the runner safe and St. Louis didn't score any runs in the the bottom half of the inning.
