Card Show on 43rd st NYC Oct 12

Hey all - There's a monthly show at the Holy Cross church in NYC being held tomorrow (Saturday Oct. 12). Has anyone attended this show?

I'm in in the city with a little time to kill tomorrow and was thinking of checking it out. IIRC, I used to go to shows at this church when I was a kid. Can't believe it's still going on.

Not sure who it was, but I think there is a fellow member who has mentioned this show a few times. If I didn't have plans tomorrow I would have taken the train from Long Island and met you there.

Doug - it was good you had plans. It was so depressing.

How bad was the show? Glad I didn't go then, as it would have been over an hour ride by train in each direction and a waste of $25.00 for train fare.

Sad to see so many card shows other than the National seem to be exercises in futility here on the east coast.

It was a dank small room, all tables empty but for four guys with their raw cards laid out. No boxes of any kind. No memorabilia of any kind. Admission was cheap though - $1.
