Holdings in SPDR Gold Trust reach 4 year Low.

CNBC just announced that the amount of gold held by the GLD reached a 4 year low.

I think the gold trade is over for now and gold will continue to drop to at least $1000.

    In the old days that would be a bullish sign.
    I agree with you however that the gold/and silver trade is dead for now-going lower probably for a few years at least.

    Sinclair has been really quiet lately about his gold forecast and how high he had predicted. :-)
    Of course so has Schiff and the other believers of gold

    I saw lots of "geniuses" in 1999, 2007 and 2011. Maybe we'll see some again in 2015 or 2019?
