I loved reading your story. You're a fine writer and did fine work in sharing the trials and tribulations of your life over the past year or so. I'm sorry for the trials though you and your family seem to have weathred them all very well and come out ahead.
I recall your warmth and freedom in sharing of your knowledge of Toned Morgans when I first joined the forum. I'm very happy to see you back and happy that your wife has gone from a hellish gig to a much more joyous and rewarding career where she is appreciated. Success stories like yours really help give hope to some that may feel trapped in difficult circumstances.
Good things in life don't often just fall into ones lap. You have to have the strength and determination to make them happen, and not be afraid to try. Kudos to you!

Trust me. I KNOW what being called Mr. Mom feels like. I was telling someone the other day, I've been transformed into a 1960's era housewife. Getting the dishes done, cooking, keeping the house tidy, washing and sanitizing bottles, handling all the doctors appointments, making sure the kids do their homework, ect. >>
I can relate. I work from home but I'm treated like a stay-at-home dad by my wife

I am glad you liked it and thanks for the writing compliment. Helps that my wife is an English teacher.
I am trying something new with this website. I will be writing articles frequently and not just about coins. I just finished my newest article on Peppers.

Eagleguy, sorry to hear that. My wife and I have a pretty good understanding when it comes to that. I have to say that being the one working from home is A LOT harder than people that have never been there think. All they hear is "You lucky bum, getting to stay home all day." When I hear work at home, I know that not only do you have to get your job done, but are also the housekeeper, secretary, cook, babysitter, ect.

Very nice website. I thoroughly enjoyed your section on peppers. I always wanted to know how they determined the Scoville scale. Very interesting. Along with your story telling, very entertaining. Liked the pictures of your gardens too. Those are some lovely peppers.....
My wife and I have often wondered what it would be like to leave the big city (Atlanta) and move to a truly rural area. Like, a population of a few thousand or less. Very difficult for me to imagine since the suburb in which I grew up housed around 40k. Some of the small towns we've been looking at have a population smaller than certain high schools. Anyway, your article and story are very interesting and hit close to home in that regard. So thanks for sharing! and best of luck to you and the fam!
