    Yesterday at Fuddrucker's, the order was $11.10, they guy takes my ten and one and says, "that's fine", I dug out a quarter and handed it to him, saying, "last time you loaned me the dime, here's for that time and this, and a down payment on next time" and we both had a good laugh.

    what's a few cents anymore?

    I was thinking this morning that $20K FV in gold is worth about $1.5M these days. Not like a revelation or anything, but telling of inflation.

    Talk about inflation! I had to put air in my tires yesterday. Used to, they called for 32 lbs......now they call for 44 lbs. Sheesh.

    I worked at a retail store once in high school (local drug store chain) where if even one register was off by a penny, everyone had to stay locked in the store until everything balanced. Even stock clerks.

    Yes, I realize this was probably illegal. I didn't stay past 2 months as I couldn't afford to be getting out past midnight on school nights.
