ebay returns over $250

I have a broken psa case and need to send back to seller.

For ebay puyer protection claim and return to seller..

Di I need to have seller sign for it as is valued over $250

Seller is being kind of a jerk about this.

His very poor shipping possibly ruined and very nice low pop card

Yes, Paypal requires signature confirmation over $250

Correct. Don't be cheap and try to save a coupleof bucks for something you paid more than $250 for. It might come back to bite you. Get the signature confirmation. If you are paranoid like me, you will also buy insurance. What happens if the USPS accidentally loses the package? You have no recourse unless you bought insurance. Again, do not be cheap. Pay for the services to get your money back.

Sellers are not required by to reimburse your return shipping charges. I do not think that is justifying leaving the seller a negative if he does not refund.

    +1

As long as you get a full refund including your original shipping cost, I can't see leaving a neg for your return shipping. Personally, I consider this the cost of conducting a transaction on the internet. Sometimes things just don't work out. To avoid this, you'd have to purchase only from card shows and card shops where you don't assume the risk of an item being damaged during transit.
