WTB: F mount macro lens for my D3100

After doing some research, I believe a 105mm macro lens would do the trick across the spectrum of coins, at least for me. Would prefer a current Nikon lens that does both auto and manual focus.

I would go longer.

I started with 50mm, upgraded to 100mm, and when I found a deal on a 180mm it was heaven. I sold the 100mm and kept the 50mm for slab shots. My newest lens is a top-of-the-line 200mm and I rarely us anything else.

I think I have an old AI-S but it is all manual. But that and a PK-13 extension tube and you have a lot to work with. The PK-13 may not be the right one, I am not at home to look in the drawer of lenses and tubes.

Still looking, prefer one that has a built in motor, as my D3100 doesn't. It's a DX format camera and the 105mm Nikon is FX, what will this mean mounted to my cam? No big deal?
Like to stick with Sigma or Nikon or would consider an older AF Micro Nikkor 105mm. When you think about you don't need VR or auto focus.
