1986 topps baseball - better to rip vending or racks?

Hi
Went through threads but couldn't find this exact feedback. Hunting for gems - more potential in racks or vending or both?
Any insights appreciated.

Great set and one of my guilty pleasures. I have had absolutely zero luck with vending.

I have broken an entire 86 vending case without grading a single card. Enough said.

  • I ripped an entire case of 1986 Topps Supers some time ago and pulled about 5 10's to back up that last report. On the other hand, I also cracked a 3 box rack case which yielded many 10's

  • Racks it is. Thanks guys.

Was hoping BBCE big news was a pallet of 86 rack cases but oh well
