I didn't see a thread since the post season is upon us.
My team (Mariners) were eliminated when it was shown they couldn't beat the Astros. So, I'll root for some big time underdogs! I'd like to see PIT win it in 6 over BOS.

As a life long Red Sox fan, I'd love 2 see the Red Sox vs the Dodgers.
The Dodgers are probably seeing heavy action too.
I'll guess a Red Sox- Dodgers world series.
The most interesting aspect of that series will be if the Dodgers can sell out their stadium for all the games.
<< <i>I wonder if there has ever been a year when the reds, pirates, indians and tigers make the playoffs? >>
Not sure about the other 2, but in the 113 years the Pirates and Indians have been in the league together, they've never made the playoffs in the same year.
For my pick, I'll go out on a limb and pick OAK-LAD. 1988 rematch!
<< <i>B4 getting 2 the WS, I think the potential of the Indians vs the Red Sox would have some drama and excitement potential in a Division series. Think Terry Francona. returning to Fenway. Of course the Indians have 2 get past the Rays. Why Francona is starting a rookie in that game is a mystery 2 me.

I agree. Would love Donnie Baseball to finally get a WS ring and don't care how he gets it.
<< <i>I'm sure there's heavy money going on the Sox.

Why wouldn't LA be able to sell out their playoff games? Why aren't you criticizing the Braves fans, who have quite the history of failing to fill their stadium for playoff games. What about the Rays? They had the worst attendance in all of baseball, despite having a fantastic team for some time now.
No, just go ahead and try to take a swipe at LA, right?
Looking to BUY n332 1889 SF Hess cards and high grade cards from 19th century especially. "Once you have wrestled everything else in life is easy" Dan Gable

I haven't been to a World Series game in LA since '77 and '78 but it was a tough ticket back then and I am sure it's the same now. Will be sold out every game. You probably can't afford tickets on Stubhub either. Not to defend LA but there is just too much going on there that people are not as "in" to their sports as people are other places. Not good or bad just is.
Red Sox v. Dodgers would be great!
If the Dodgers don't make it I would like Pirates v. A's. That would piss off the TV execs!
