Since special has no minimum I don't see why many would want to piggyback. I have some tickets and will just send in my own sub. Don't see where there would be cost savings.

Some people are not members. This would be a benefit to them, because you have to be a member to submit. Some people also don't like the high return shipping fees associated with sending one or two tickets to PSA. If you are only sending one or two, let me know how much PSA is charging to return shipping. The savings would be volume in numbers and for people who don't wish to become members.

Exactly ... I'm a psa member but I usually like to piggy back on small subs to take advantage of bulk shipping... Im actually subbing about 5 tickets... But 2 of them are not very routine and I want to make sure they get labeled correctly.. But j do have 2 cards with bobby on a sub for 2 cards that I got after I subbed a bunch on my own. Plus I've had great luck piggybacking.

true that not everyone is a member. not sure on the savings shipping wise. i will have to ship tickets to you and also pay for return shipping from you plus a fraction of the group shipping to and from PSA. seems to me it would be a marginal savings even without doing the math. i also tend not to skimp on the insurance when shipping via USPS. at that point i would rather just have the tickets come right back to me and be available to add to my sets without having to enter the cert numbers.
i have done quite a few group subs and they were worth it when you can leverage even better deals that the specials. just in my view its not worth it on this one for me. i am sure others might feel that its a good deal for them.

That is fine...like I said, PSA still charges around $18 for return shipping as long as they are under $1,000. $28 if they are over $1,000 but less than $5,000. True, I do charge you $1 per ticket for shipping to and from Cali, and return shipping back to you, but if you sub only one ticket, you are looking at paying me $18+$1 plus return shipping back to you for around $3 for a total cost incurrred of around $22. If you dealt with PSA directly, and are subbing just one ticket, you are looking at $18 + $18 for a total cost of $36 to get just one ticket graded. That is why most people like to piggyback with me. I absorb all the shipping cost instead of them. I also usually send items Overnight Express at my expense, because, well....I'm like that. My last order to PSA cost me $67 to ship to them. I absorb 95% of that cost....NOT the piggybackers.........that is why most people like piggybacking with me, and yes, there is indeed a savings, especially if you only have a couple of tickets to sub.
If this is good for concert tickets I'd like to get in with 5 -10. Stubs actually though not full tickets. Is it at the 25 dollar rate though or cheaper ? I'm in for at least 5 either way. I gather I send you the money and shipping costs, send you the tickets, you get tickets back then mail to me ?
Yes Bunt....the special is actually for $18 per ticket. You have to add $1 per ticket for shipping to and from Cali, and then you pay for return shipping once everything gets graded.
This is happening!! I only have a couple, but one is worth quite a bit of money, so I am willing to take the brunt of the PSA shipping fee to make this happen!
Comments
Probably have 5 - 10.
Do they also encase the ticket books for the season pass?
Thanks
