Penny Sleeve + Card Saver OR Card Saver Alone

Random poll/question type thing.

Do you use a penny sleeve with a card saver, or the card saver alone...

If card saver alone, how on earth do you get a card in there without damaging it? I think I missed card saver class somewhere along the line.

I'm either Card Saver 1 or penny sleeve in top loader.

I personally do not use a penny in combination with a CS1 any longer. It tends to bind inside the "Card Saver I" for me. Not sure if this is just a South Texas humidity issue or something that happens everywhere. Without a penny it lets the card slide in nice and smooth and the card doesn't move inside. When handling a shiny card, I pinch the end between a lens cloth while inserting to prevent fingerprints.

I use a penny sleeve for modern (1980-present), and go raw for the older stuff. Penny sleeves help protect the gloss, but for the older stuff you run the risk of catching an edge when slipping it into the penny sleeve.

in Card Saver its the card alone, tends to not slide into it well and risks damage to the card....in a top loader its a penny sleeve into the top loader
