Calling on ur experience... What's the best way to sell? Thank you

Hi guys,
I've got primarily PSA 9 and 10's from the early 1970's. Just a few that could go to an auction house. To get the most money for these cards, which would be best? Either slowly do it myself on eBay? Or use pwcc, probstein etc.? On top of eBay and paypal fees does anyone know what probstein etc charges? Actually a few hundred to sell.
Can u offer some opinions? Thx

you might try listing some on the B/S/T Boards right here. I have had a few good deals for close to Ebay prices without the fees.
  • I used Probstein and am very happy with the results. I submitted a Pop 1 PSA 10 football card and did very well on it. Also had great results on some nice PSA 9s. So basically if you have cards that are over $100, you will save money on ebay/paypal fees (10% ebay, 2.9% paypal) by consigning. Plus you don't have to scan or ship the items.

    Here are his rates

over $2500 , you get 90% of the sales price ( probstein123 pays all ebay and paypal fees )
btw $1000-$2499 , you get 89% of the sales price ( probstein123 pays all ebay and paypal fees )
btw 100-$999 , you get 88% of the sales price ( probstein123 pays all ebay and paypal fees )
btw $50-99 , you get 87% of the sales price ( probstein123 pays all ebay and paypal fees )
btw $25-49 , you get 86% of the sales price ( probstein123 pays all ebay and paypal fees )
below $25 , you get 85% of the sales price ( probstein123 pays all ebay and paypal fees )
  • Exactly what I was looking for.
Oh, what are probsteins turn around times? And do u have a say when they're sold, don't want auction to end tues at 3 a.m.?
    Thx

Sell them yourself. Sounds like your cards will be easy to sell. Unless you are crazy busy (or lazy) why pay someone to do what you can easily do yourself?

As mentioned above, why go through the effort on something over $100? Probstein will probably bring higher dollar and with his fee discounts, you end up paying less in fees.

If they are all $100+ cards, you are saving money by having him sell the cards. Probstein charges 12% including ebay/paypal fees. Ebay is 10% plus 2.9% for paypal is 12.9% (this is not factoring in a top rated discount). Plus you only have to ship 1 package to him and not worry about scanning and shipping. I received my check about 7-10 days after the auctions ended. He ended all of mine at around 8pm cst.

I suggest you try here first. It costs you nothing but your time.

Here first. Then Rick or Brent. If you want quick turnaround, go with Rick. If you have time and want more descriptive auctions, go with Brent.

    Thanks,
