It would not surprise me to start hearing this comparison on No. Cal. sports talk radio.

They've been calling him the Mark Sanchez of NorCal, which in my opinion is a bit unfair. The fact that he's running out of necessity and not because of a read-option play, he has no viable receivers other than Boldin (Davis is out as are Baldwin, Crabtree and Manningham) and an ineffective running game doesn't exactly help him much.

As its been said repeatedly today, there are so many problems with this team it's not even funny. Everything about this team is dysfunctional and weak. There are no immediate solutions and this season could potentially be a long one.

The Colts based their game plan by copying what Seattle did and it worked for them. Basically both games had the same look and feel.

At this rate they look and play like a 4-12 team, and that isn't me saying that.

Truth be told, much of me is glad they lost today. When they lost last week it was the "Seattle is a tough place to play because its so loud and the 12th man gave them a huge advantage" excuse. People thought it was a fluke. There are no excuses for today's loss. Finally the true problems with this team are getting exposed one deficiency at a time.

This is not the same team that played in the playoffs last season. It is merely a shadow of that team.

This game has stopped the smoke blowing up our rears about how great this team is on paper and has fully revealed vulnerabilities invisible to those wearing rose-colored glasses. In the long run that's a good thing.

NorCall talk radio (specifically KNBR 680) is the worst...I should take that back. The idiots calling in are the worst. Each and every one of them, spoiled by the successes of late, think each loss is the end of the world, and it's sad and pathetic and a big reason I stopped listening. Well that and they hired Eric Byrnes who is a total clown.

What I saw of the game couldn't be pinned on Kaep, as his O-line had defenders in the backfield all day. Until that gets fixed, it doesn't matter who is back there. Throw in Alden Smith's going to rehab, and it looks like the Seahawks are going to run away with the division.
  • Say, whatever happened to Alex Smith? Oh....that's right. He's 3-0 somewhere...

680 is much better than our local "sports" station in Sac. The King's announcer, Grant Nappier, has had the afternoon drive time spot as long as I can remember on 1140. He is one of the worst broadcasters out there. Some of the callers are horrible but some are just playing games with Grant since Grant is such an idiot. Having said that, it's like a train wreck so I do listen sometimes. However, 680 is MUCH better.

Why? Kapernick is ten times the QB that Tebow is.
