Funny ebay experience.... ah Dpeck is famous

I was going through some auctions that I bid on and noticed that someone that won a series 3 market scene wrestling set had an ebay handle of dpecksaclown. Thought it was great because I know that the real Dpeck would take it in stride and see the humor in it. Wonder if it is a serious thing, or someone just being cute? LOL

That set is extremely rare. Wish I saw it the auction. I have never seen the ultimate warrior card with 1989 tm. Very cool set.

Yeah, don't feel too bad. As Rob said, it's not in good shape. Check out the top AND the bottom:

I have a few items listed right now and if this guy wants to bid on them and pay I am fine with it.

This is a cool set of cards that I have been looking for a few from for a while with no luck. The condition of these kept me from putting in any competitive bids and I will just keep looking.

Thanks Rob for bringing this to my attention. I got a good laugh out of it.

For the official record I find it completely odd and makes me wonder why someone would make that ebay handle...a bit strange....

Definitely think Dpecksaclown is an alt as he has a feedback score of 0 after the account was created back in September. I did lose an auction to this guy so perhaps this was a shill account that was made........interesting.

Gosh, I thought I remembered in the "OT: The other thing I collect...Post other stuff you collect!" thread Mullins gushed about his collection of Hemingway... but I must be mistaken since it isn't there now.

Unless... he... edited... naw. I mean, Mullins editing posts to remove incriminating evidence? Absurd!

I'm sure he just edited the post there for grammar or something benign and I just "mis-remembered" it being Hemingway related. image

Mullins only response to making an ebay ID of "davidpeckloveswrestling".

Why would any individual do this???

I don't know, but I think he's full of carp. What happened to that Jeter fake thread that he was pontificating on? Why did it poof? And I'm anxious to hear his response about the eBay id.
