Anyone have 2001 (Baseball) Topps Traded box open?

Hi,

I'm just looking for 1 card.

Jose Canseco with the Whitesox. Card T-59. I have the chrome version so I'm just looking for the regular issued base card from that traded set.

    Thank you Barry. I've never seen that site before. Could be interesting - especially when I'm on the hunt for the commons that don't pop up too often because they are pretty much worthless but that I still am looking for. I just want to see if a fellow collector has a spare that they don't care about.

    Bobby, thanks. I know Matt has plenty of 2000 traded but I'm not sure about 2001. I figure he comes on here pretty often that he may read this without me having to bother him.

    Funny but I have that card in chrome but not the regular issue.

    Why does the 2001 #636 show Canseco in a Angels uniform. I see no stats of him playing for them??

    I don't believe he ever played a single game with the Angels which is why he has no stats for them. He even has a card in an Expos uniform from 2002 (his last card) where he tried out but didn't make the cut. By then, he had been playing for about 17 yrs and there were new guys entering the game who were younger as faster than him and so he was cut and never got to play a single major league game with them either. His last official team that he played for was with the White Sox in 2001.

    looks like he went to Spring Training with them in 2001 and was released on 03/28 before hooking up with the ChiSox

    You can get it on COMC for .75 + shipping. If you havent gone there to look for the oddball Cansecos, you will likely be spending some money. Its great for that kind of thing and its flat $3 for shipping so it pays to get multiple cards
