Ebay 52 Topps High # pack - Bogus?

Noticed this on Ebay today.
Mantle pack
Checked the sellers feedback, looks odd for something of this calibre but she has been around for a while and not totally unbelievable. Recent feedback has some sketchy activity.
Googled and the exact pack (cert and pics) comes up from my Heritage Auction in May.
HA pack
Alarm bells ringing. I decide to contact the seller about a offline purchase, we come to a quick deal on price. To seal deal I ask her to send me different pics of the pack in hand.
She immediatley responds asking me to contact her lawyer in NYC. Gives a number and everything, Mr Perez Esquire. Says he has the pack and she cannot provide additonal pics.
All signs point to scam. This lady has pulled pics from the HA listing and trying to make a quick buck.
I don't get it, Ebay purchasers are protected. If she doesn't have a pack to sell, how can she actually get away with it? Maybe find someone that will PayPal gift her the money?
Have a look, tell me what you think. I'm going to report the listing to Ebay, someone could be out a pile of dough.

Same M.O. used with one of our board members last year by another potential scammer. Since we are friends and I am an attorney, I asked him to get the email address of her attorney. She gave it to the board member who passed it on to me. I sent her "attorney" a couple of emails asking if we could meet to exchange money and cards. Guess what? No response ... what a shock. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS ONE.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
More bad hobby news, just checking out some listings for Oct / Nov Heritage Auctions. Looks like out old friend Jose Pepis is getting smarter and sending his home made cello's to auction houses. I see sketchy Schmidt, Winfields and more.
The number she provided was a Brooklyn area number.
<< <i>So what's the method behind the scam, if bought through ebay the buyer just files a claim and gets money back right?

I'm sure she plans to drain her paypal account and let paypal deal with it. Probably will send an empty box with sig confirmation too. Sickening.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

At least they won't get dinged for shipping.
As they are in NYC, I think they'll auction this next:
I'm beginning to think there is some shilling going on here.
Definately stolen scans.
Oh thats right the 30 bids are just for fun!
<< <i>The high bidder has 69% of their bids with this seller! LOL
Oh thats right the 30 bids are just for fun!
Hey...Don't steal my joke!
My fault of course for editing it in under the Brooklyn Bridge picture.....but I did beat you to it.
Perhaps they are just safety bids.
<< <i>Oh thats right the 30 bids are just for fun!
Quite fun indeed! But it seems like noone wants to play with Snuffy anymore. You bums left him hanging!!!! KEEP BIDDING!!!!!!
<< <i>Come on guys bid this thing to 20k before it gets pulled! >>
Mission Complete!
<< <i>I'm still high bidder, you guys ran me up! >>
Don't worry, Snuffy just needs to rest his trunk for a while! I'll be baaaaack!!!!!
First, the only keywords they use to advertise is "1952 Topps pack"?? Any seller would spam the crap out of this pack to get everyones attention.
No feedback in 6 months?
No other card sales. Mostly electronics and beauty supplies which can be got off the back of any truck in New York.
And no new scans provided for this auction. Its been cropped a little tighter.
The fact that she defers questions to a lawyer alone is cause for alarm.
This is definitely a scam.
