It was to own a Bronko Nagurski 1935 National Chicle RC... I saw a picture of that card in a price guide when I was a kid back in 1983 and coveted it immediately.

I picked one up here on the boards a few years back... so now it is completing the set... only 4 more to go!

If I ever decided to sell off my collection, that set would likely be the only thing I would keep.

    Just a few:

    86-87 fleer Jordan
    48 leaf babe Ruth
    51 bowman mickey mantle

I think the mantle rc is going to be most difficult for me to buy considering I'll have to spend around $1200-1500 for the grade I want which would be by far the most I've ever spent on a single card.

I've always loved the 48 leaf babe Ruth card although it's not super action packed with the mugshot of babe Ruth, just love the pic, the black and white block style letters and the background color. Also, it was the first babe Ruth card I ever seen.

Ive always said I would enjoy owning a Jordan rc in any condition/grade and I still mean it.

A Rocket Richard signed 1951 Parkhurst is probably the White Whale right now but affording it would be difficult. I've never seen one.

I will say my bucket list includes:

    1. At least one wax, cello, and rack for 1970-1974 Topps Baseball.
    2. Rack pack and a Mini Wax Box for 1975 Topps Baseball.
    3. A wax box, Cello box, and rack Box for Topps Baseball 1976-1985.
    4. Topps PSA 1979 set -- this is the first year I bought cards.
    5. 1968 Topps Johnny Bench Rookie PSA 9
    6. 1963 Topps Pete Rose Rookie PSA 7-8

I will be lucky to achieve the first 3 due to cost and rarity of some of these items. However, it is always nice to dream!

  • My list includes:
    '54 Hank Aaron
    '54 Al Kaline
    '56 Clemente
    '63 Pete Rose
    '68 Nolan Ryan

1 PSA graded pack from 1970-1990 (don't ask why)

    1963 Pete Rose Topps rookie
1997 Bowman Mirror Image Inverted Atomic Refractor Larkin/Jeter
    1910 Mecca T218 golfers
  • Now that I think of it, I'd like a PSA 10 version of every card ever made ever. Also, every pack, box, and display ever made. Also, a super model.
  • 7. 1956 Topps Jackie Robinson

I believe I saw someone selling one on the boards about 2 days ago. Just do a search.

As far as cards that are on my list:

    Nolan Ryan Rookie PSA 8
    Derek Jeter SP PSA 9
Maris Rookie PSA 8 (I own one in a 7 and I like my 7 more than most 8's Ive seen in person)
    Maris 62 PSA 8
    Mantle 64 PSA 8
    Ripken Traded PSA 10

I'm sure a few more but those right now are the ones I really would like.

Those are usually my ebay searches.

Just curious, why do the T218 golfers have to be Mecca?

These are for my Cardinals team set collection. These are very, very difficult to find. The last card on my list seems easy, but I have looked for 2 solid years for it.

1955 Topps Hocus Focus - Wally Moon (a nice impossible card to start it off)

1955 Topps Stamps - Joe Cunningham, Alex Grammas, Harvey Haddix (like I will ever even see one of these)

1961 Topps Dice Game - Stan Musial, Bill White (it's ok to dream isn't it?)

1966 Topps Punchouts - Curt Flood

1967 Topps Discs - Orlando Cepeda

1967 Topps Stand Ups - Orlando Cepeda, Tim McCarver

1968 Topps Discs - Orlando Cepeda

1968 Topps Plaks - Orlando Cepeda, Checklist

1969 Topps 4-in-1 Stickers - Steve Huntz & Mike Torrez Rookie Stars (with Carl Yastrzemski)

1970 Topps Candy Lids - Richie Allen

1972 Topps Candy Lids - Lou Brock, Bob Gibson

1973 Topps Comics - Joe Torre

    1990 Topps Folders / Sport Shots / Portfolio / Duo-Tang Pedro Guerrero

2001 Topps Retrofractors 146 Fernando Tatis

63T Rose (a pretty psa 7 would do)
    53T Paige (same, psa 7)
    74T Rose (a well centered 9)
    63F Set in PSA 8+
    51T Red Backs in 7+

All of these are attainable. I had made it about 40% of the way through the 63F and 51T but decided to sell what I had to apply the money to things that made more sense at the time. Most of this is just something that I can easily pick up when I want -- just need to have an occasion to treat myself to something.

I also have 2 or 3 autograph TTM projects I want to start on.
