Maybe I do not truly understand how centering is measured. But. 32/68 would lead me to believe that one border is slightly more than 2 times the other border. Although the left border is obviously smaller than the right, it certainly does not appear to be less than half its size????

32x=4800-48x Bring x to one side and it becomes
80x=4800 Solve for x
x=60
Plug that back into the fraction and you get 60/40

I think Common Core would say your answer is incorrect, since you didn't use the correct method. This is regardless of whether the answer is correct or not or may be more efficient.

Take enough Calculus and Differential Equation courses and you will find out that nothing is as easy as it seems! The sad part is that my method is my natural, logical thought process and thus easier to me.
