the eagles are my favorite team. lately though their decisions have really pissed my off. here are my 3 biggest beefs with them

1. why did they waste ALL their picks on dbs? they already have 3 probowlers or soon to be probowlers(al harris, troy vincent, bobby taylor)

2. why did they let trotter go?? real dumb choice!

3. why didnt they pick up warrick dunn when they had a chance? face it, Duce is an awesome player, my 3rd fav. player on the team, but since he got hurt, he hasnt done anything, he's the next terrell davis and jamal anderson. and now what, they have NO running backs now that buckhalter is out the season with torn acl.

    Trotter was probably let go because of salary reasons.

    ya possibly, but then they shoulda got rid of somebody else, not their star! lol, and then they shoulda picked up a guy to fill his spot in the draft, not all dbs!

    The Eagles are my favorite team also... i like what they are doing. I dont think they need any rookies they have great backups as it is, they just need game time...Andy Reid did a great job with the draft..he knows that Dawkins,Taylor and Vincent will be gone in a few years so he is letting these rookies develop. The situation with Trotter I am not to sure about but I think Shawn Barber is just as good. I am hoping that they pick up Dorsey Levens or Ki-Jana Carter..because Duce hasnt been very reliable...Just my opinion..lol ttyl ~Drew

    troy and dawkins will be around for quite a while longer, and probably taylor too, unless they decide to get rid of them. i can see ur point with getting back-ups for those spots with the picks, but still, they coulda got a nice rb, or another good player in the first rnd. and if they woulda signed dorsey(from the GAYEST team of all time) i woulda stopped liking them right their. i already dont like that they have made any deals with the packers. but andy is a good coach. carter woulda been ok, but he really needs to develope into a star, he was good his 1st season, but hasnt showed anything since then. WARRICK DUNN would of been a perfect pick up!

    Why let them piss you off? They are the one's with the famous lifestyle, and they are making the big bucks. image

    But, I'm glad my Falcons got Warrick Dunn. Hell, Jamal Anderson has been hurt so much the past couple of seasons that we HAVE to get another running back just in case. And who better than Dunn? He's a tremendous running back, but not as good as Jamal Anderson. I believe my Falcons will be A LOT better this season with Vick running the QB, and Jamal healthy and Dunn as a backup. Then, we pick up key WR's. We have a great defense. I believe the DIRTY BIRDS will back next season and will be the surprise team of the year! GO FALCONS!

    the only thing the falcons have going for them is WARRICK DUNN and of course Michael Vick, there will be no more dirty birds, face it, jamal is washed up now, just like aikman was his last few seasons.

    hmm, and y let them piss me off. wouldnt it piss u off if the lakers traded kobe? or atlanta traded chipper(actually a good thing if they get him on a good team). and wouldnt it piss u off if kobe all the sudden turned gay, or just totally sucked(chipper already fits both those qualities), lol.

    I agree. I really don't care about football much anyway, so it doesn't really matter to me. If the Lakers traded Kobe, I really wouldn't care because he'd still be my favorite player. Yeah, CHIPPER! He sucks? That's REAL funny there. Here's one of the biggest clutch players in baseball, a former NL MVP, and a guy who leads the Majors in Batting average with runners in scoring position. Hmm...he sucks pretty bad....yeah...........right. Not as bad as your Sucks...erm I mean Bucks. image

    lol derrick, isnt it great, we can joke around and it doesnt really matter to either of us, but then u get some ppl in here that just get pissed and act like a buncha as*es. lol

    LOL! I know. Some people don't know how to have a decent argument/discussion without getting their panties in a big wad! I love arguing and discussing different situations in sports when it's a "mature" discussion. But, people just need to lighten up, because you only live ONCE!
