Just curious. Got some for my son that is into comics and thought it might spur him into numismatics.

    I like them, but the ones I are sold out and being put on ebay. More flippers delight.

    No I didn't get that, but I did get my Dr. Who Coin, and it is selling for 50% over issue on Ebay already.image

    Bought a couple of the hologram coins. Passed on the gold one. WHAT A MISTAKE!! Still kicking myself! That may be the best coin of the year from any Mint appreciation wise. Congrats to those who bought it.

    Talisman has them (except of the gold one) at a reasonable price.

    You know it's times like these when I question my buying habits ... I tend to buy only what I am comfortable being *stuck* with, in the rare event I am unable to resell a.k.a. flip ... times like these I think gee maybe I should've anticipated the immense popularity of Superman and purchased some for flipping ... but I can't break my code you gotta live by a code or the entire house of cards falls apart!

    I try to stay on top of new Canadian issues that I think will do well.

    This really took me by surprise. I've have little luck with Canadian gold issues. Can't believe how this one is doing - from $735 on Sept. 9 to mid 2K now. Unreal.

    Same here - I looked at the premium to spot and said no way. Still kicking myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    If they were Batman, I definitely would've deliberated for a few more days ... and still 'walked away.' I have a comic collection worth nearly half of my coin collection but I just don't dig those enameled graphic designs.
