2007 U.D. Masterpieces Ripken Signed Original Artwork

I'm not sure if I posted the acquistion of this piece of original artwork that was used in the 2007 U.D. Masterpieces card set. When I originally obtained this painting in the spring, I noted that the lower right hand corner of it was left un-painted, so I thought it was the perfect place for special signature from Cal:

actually, the lower right is completely painted... the artwork was taken from a photograph of cal and he is kneeling near some flat object at his left foot... i'm not sure if it's something covering the on-deck circle or what.... but, the artist was faithful to the photo except that i believe he removed a uniformed individual standing down the third base line...
in any event... a great item....

So how big is the painting? Is it framed??

That's cool you got Cal to inscribe it as original artwork (especially how he drew the O with a little loop on top).

It's approximately 16x20 in size and I still have to get it framed (will be hung in my "hobby" room)

What were the details of the sale? Were there more of these being sold? UD sell it?? I don't recall hearing about a sale, but if they had a bunch of these done for those cards there has got to be a bunch more out there somewhere.

I used to own the Vlad, if was equally well done but only 8x10 on artists board, so the size of the Ripken alone makes it an extra special piece.
