Randy White autograph

I was at a golf tournament in PA.
Randy White played in it and was set up in the corner of the club house for autographs.
He wasn't really getting much attention but being a life long Cowboys fan, I approached and introduced myself.
We had a great chit-chat and he spontaneously gave me his HOF fame ring for me to examine.
Afterwards he gave a 15 minute talk and it was interesting, inspiring and humorous too.

I'm not an autograph seeker/collector but sure can appreciate those who are.
I'm painfully shy by nature and have missed out on several opportunities as a result.
So happy I made myself say hi.

I am not an autograph seeker or collector myself. The time to talk one on one for me would have been priceless though.

  • He was a Beast of a player. He was the anchor of that Doomsday defense in the late 70s. I would have liked to chat with him being a long time Cowboy fan. I am not an auto guy either but would be cool to hear some stories from a HOFamer. I met Herb Aderly and he showed his Super Bowl rings along with HOF ring, he said how fortunate he was to play for 2 of the greatest coaches that ever walked the sidelines.
