Ozzie Smith 1979 Topps PSA 9? (OC or MC)

Does this card have a shot at a 9 with an OC or MC qualifier? When it comes to the qualifier, is one preferred over the other? Opinions are appreciated!

No matter how you slice (or trim) it, PSA 7 all day. Chaz.

The top left corner looks touched or slightly frayed. The back looks too OC to be a 9 or an 8 as well.

The back makes me think MC. It would probably be a PSA 7 with no qualifiers though.

They may not even grade it. Just send it back "Miscut". Boy, that's a nice front though.

FWIW - I have had N8 Miscuts come back subsequently as 7s and, in one case, Gem Mint 10.
