Indeed.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

Were these players smokers or just endorsers? I mean like Ted Williams, Stan Musial, Jackie Robinson, etc?
Its really strange seeing all these athletes endorse smoking. It was never personified as something to do with sports, but more as a cool, causal look of the 50's and 60's.
As far as weed becoming legal? I think its gonna be longer than you think. Just because some states are becoming "tolerant" or "lenient" or even "legal", each step has its backlash that the FBI cracks down on it. And I would not be surprised that big tobacco companies are not pulling any strings on the matter until they can get a position in the market and sell it "responsibly". (i.e. cut with as many cancer causing chemicals as they do tobacco).

More so "big alcohol"...As weed becomes more and more acceptable and common, alcohol sales and consumption will suffer tremendously. They are putting tons of money into anti-marijuana campaigns

Reminds me of an old krispy Kreme poster I saw at a local kk, it said "healthy and nutritious!"

I believe the brainwashing occurred long ago (1920's-1930's) in regards to this matter and has continued until recently.
I really do love these old ads. It was only like 3 or 4 years ago where they told Leyland he can no longer smoke in the clubhouse.
