My son had received an Orioles board book for his first birthday/Christmas a couple years ago. When I was flipping through it I came to a page in the center of the book title "Legends of the Game" which depicted the 6 Orioles hall of famers who have their numbers retired by the team as well. I decided that I would buy another copy of the book to get signed by the players with him so that one day he could look back on it and think about the cool gift that he was able to do with his dad.
Yesterday at the MAB Orioles 1983 World Series 30th Reunion show we were able to finish the book by meeting and getting Eddie Murray to sign his book. I am really happy that we were able to get Earl before he passed away. We will need to meet Jim Palmer again to take a picture because we got his autograph at the Orioles fanfest and were unable to take a picture.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Congrats

This reminds me of a project I did for my Dad a few years ago for Fathers Day. It wasn't nearly as involved as yours, as I only personally obtained the Bill Ripken autograph, but it was still a blast to put together and my Dad loved it. It will be something that will stay in my family forever.
