Fort Pierce is about a half hour's drive north of Palm Beach, on Florida's aptly named Treasure Coast. In the past, after hurricanes or heavy storms, gold coins were found washed up on the beaches, although I don't believe that's happened in a while. The divers in the video will have to share their treasure with a company that already has the salvage rights, as well as with the state.
