Cleaning residue from a card

I am about to sub my 1986 fleer Jordan sticker. I noticed there are some residue from where the gum was at. I scratched a little off with my nails, but don't want to damage the card. Should I try to clean it or just submit as it?

I found that cloths used to clean eye glasses works wonder. Rubbing it in a small circular motion. I got most of the wax off.

Hi Dapro,

I used real cotton balls to handle junk on valuable comics when I used to work on them - but whatever you use - be careful not to polish the existing ink finish accidentally by either pushing too hard or too rubbing too long!
