BIG Cards in St.Louis...

I spent the weekend in St.Louis. This is the inside of the Redbird Club at Busch Stadium. This is only one section of the wall as it goes on and on. Funny, the only Topps card on the wall is a 1953 Satchell Paige. image

This was inside Blueberry Hill, a well known restaurant in the Loop in University City. Chuck Berry still plays there.

Pretty cool. The first thing I noticed is that the Brock card is NOT a blow-up of his actual 1967 Topps card. It's a little different. He looks a little happier on his actual card. image

Might not be actual blow ups of the cards, but rather paintings. Blowing up a card to this size would be so fuzzy you wouldn't see any defined lines.

And they're trimmed, too! Just look at those narrow borders...

Nice stuff. I noticed the Mets had a bunch of player representations around Citi Field using Topps images when I was at the All-Star Game.
