Player Master Set Collectors: What are the most passionately competed for sets that you know of?

I love collecting player sets, particularly my Magic Johnson, Larry Bird and Muhammad Ali Master Sets. (I am pretty sure that in the infancy of the Set Registry, I was the one who requested the Muhammad Ali set. It was, at the time, the only Player Set not in the major sports). I know that there are passionate collectors of all sorts of players from all sports. From the Modern Era, what are the most hotly contested that you know of?

I would have to think Cal Ripken is one of them.

Nolan Ryan
Will Clark
Michael Jordan

Far and away, the Nolan Ryan registries are the most competitive. There is no close second.

Once you move past Ryan, there are a bunch of other players who garner attention (Ripken, Jeter, etc.), but none of these players come within a par 5 of the Express.
